2. Principle: data minimisation
Protecting your personal data is important to us. This website uses no cookies, embeds no external services (such as fonts, maps, analytics or advertising networks) and uses no tracking. All components of the website (fonts, images, scripts, stylesheets) are loaded exclusively from our own server.
3. Server log files
When you access this website, the hosting provider automatically stores information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits automatically. These are typically: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer / shortened IP address, and the time of the server request. This data is not merged with other data sources. Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free and secure operation of the website. The log files are deleted after a short period.
4. Contact form and e-mail contact
If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, the data you provide (name, e-mail address, optionally company and phone number, and your message) is stored to process your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (initiation/performance of a contract) or Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (handling of your enquiry). The data is used solely to process your request and is not passed on to third parties. We delete this data as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose, or restrict processing where statutory retention obligations exist.
To protect against automated abuse (spam), the form uses a hidden field (honeypot) and a simple math question. No personal data is transmitted to third parties in this process.
5. Recipients / processing on our behalf
The website is operated by a hosting service provider that processes the data on our behalf and on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR within the EU.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to: access to the data stored about you (Art. 15), rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing (Art. 21). An informal message to info@card.de is sufficient to exercise your rights.
7. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The competent authority for Baden-Württemberg is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
8. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by "https://" in your browser's address bar.
9. Validity
