Archiving is more than storage space: it combines compliant retention, anytime access and relief for your production systems. CaRD connects the SAP standard interfaces ArchiveLink and DMS with modern storage — from classic archive systems to Microsoft Azure Blob Storage, AWS S3 and SharePoint.
This way invoices, outbound documents, print lists and inbound documents are stored in an audit-proof manner exactly where they belong — and remain findable from within SAP at a single click. On request we implement the connection via CMIS, turning cloud storage into a fully usable SAP repository.
Beyond document archiving, we also support you as a service in archiving transactional data out of the SAP database (transaction SARA). Completed records are moved into ADK files and stored in an audit-proof manner — reducing the database size and slimming down your system. The archived data stays available and is subsequently read transparently from the archive instead of the database.

Which cloud storage do you support for archiving?
Among others Microsoft Azure Blob Storage, AWS S3 (and S3-compatible storage), SharePoint Online and STACKIT. The connection runs via SAP ArchiveLink/DMS or CMIS.

Yes. We rely on immutable storage, defined retention periods and traceable access — matching legal requirements and your internal compliance rules.
Can cloud storage be used like an SAP archive?
Yes. Via CMIS and the ArchiveLink/DMS interfaces, cloud storage becomes a full SAP repository — transparently usable from within SAP.
Which archive solution do you offer?
With the CaRD Connector we offer an SAP-certified product for archiving. It lets you store all data out of SAP in an audit-proof and legally compliant way — vendor-independent and, on request, directly in the cloud.
Which protocols are supported?

Yes, both are supported without restriction — SAP HDM as well as scenarios in the SAP Public Cloud.
Can you also archive transactional data to slim down the database?
Yes, we offer this as a service. Using SAP data archiving (transaction SARA) we move completed transactional data into ADK files and store them audit-proof in the archive. This reduces the size of your production database and slims down the system — the archived data stays available and is then read transparently from the archive instead of the database.
Can you also help with migrations?
Yes. We offer archive migrations as a service and support you in switching the archive system or transferring existing holdings — audit-proof and traceable.
Can I use the CaRD Connector with an ECC system or S/4 on-premise?
Yes. The CaRD Connector also supports older systems — from SAP ECC through S/4HANA on-premise to cloud environments.
Do you also offer scan tools?
Yes. For digitising and scanning documents directly into SAP we offer suitable scan tools – including connection to ArchiveLink and your archive.
Do you also offer an Outlook integration?
Yes. With our Outlook integration you archive e-mails and attachments directly from Microsoft Outlook into SAP or your archive in an audit-proof way – without media breaks.
Do you also support third-party archive products?
Yes. We also support other archive vendors, their solutions (e.g. ELO) and partners with integration and setup – on behalf of our partner and their customers. Anonymously and without fuss if required.
